It is called a vapor dragon because it has the ability to produce vapor trough it's skin, it will have an unique smell and color completely different to another vapor dragons, they use smells to communicate, find a mate and differentiate from one another.  

It can control the vapor at it's will, so sometimes it can be found without it.
